	*The Dollar a Year Dress* 2009 This dress was made to commemorate our 35th wedding anniversary. It shows all the places my husband and I have lived. When we married in 1974, I had one week between duty stations to shop for a dress and plan the wedding. I found this one on a sales rack in Norfolk,VA. It fit and it was $35.00. My price. The 35 silk hearts were appliqued later, one for each year. The letters that Gary and I exchanged when I was stationed in Saudia Arabia and Iraq during Operation Desert Storm are printed on the skirt.
